I think I just made up my mind to set my new year (2023) resolution. It comes so late because I didn’t want to do it at the beginning of the year, the reason being failing to accomplish it, every year. But I feel like I can now. I am putting it down here, and hopefully I am able to honor it.
So this year’s resolution consists of 5 little things I want to do everyday. If I can carry it on till the end of year, I will call it a success.
- Exercise/Doing yoga daily (already doing)
- learn a foreign language 10 minutes on Duolingo. (already doing)
- 30 minutes calligraphy practice (just picking up, this is the hardest. Will have 3 sessions per week with 1 hours each session)
- 30 minutes reading(just picking up. serious reading is preferred over casual reading)
- write something/anything I have learned (just picking up)
In order to be supervised, I will update my progress on a weekly basis by posting pictures of my language study progress (Duolingo has streak counting so I will post that), calligraphy practice pictures, reading memos etc. Hopefully I will be able to accomplish my new year resolution this year and notice a difference. Good luck to myself.
